Maîtrise et doctorat en Histoire d’Amérique, combinés avec les arts, à l'Université inter-américaine de Porto Rico.
Ses œuvres sont exposées dans les collections permanentes de différents musées de l’Amérique: le Musée des Amériques de Haydée Santa María à La Havane, le Musée des Amériques à Doral Floride, dans la Casa del Libro et la galerie d’art de l'Université inter-américaine à Porto Rico. Après avoir vécu deux ans à Nairobi (Kenya), Héctor vit actuellement à Genève en Suisse.

Certified visual arts and history teacher, as well as a professional artist with a specialty in techniques such as: drawing, painting, graphic arts, mosaic, stained glass, and picture framing, among others.
Artist and teacher in different countries such as Puerto Rico, Kenya and Switzerland, as well as participation in volunteer projects in indigenous communities of Arauca, Colombia.
Firmly believe in the education of art and the promotion of culture as an indispensable means for the healthy development of a fear society.
